Fellowship in the United Kingdom

There are Christians from all walks of life that are out of fellowship, however as the return of Jesus is now imminent then we must seek to have fellowship with other Christians.

I myself believe in the baptism and gifts of the Spirit but I am not into the Toronto Blessing, Third Wave, Prosperity Gospel, Purpose Driven Church, rock bands etc.

This can be a problem because many of the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches have followed one of the above roads.  Another problem is where the leader is a strong personality and builds the church around himself not allowing any other leadership unless by people completely under his spell, this is the foundation of a cult no matter how sound the minister may appear. Many other churches are quite dead, so where are the spiritual minded churches that are doctrinally sound and not following the latest fad?

I live in Grenoside, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.  I fellowship at Hoyland Christian Fellowship, Bethany Chapel, Highcroft, Hoyland which is near Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield. This is a small independent fellowship where we encourage body ministry of those in the church as well as having visiting speakers.  We believe the meetings should exalt our Lord Jesus Christ and also build the saints up with sound teaching that will produce mature Christians. We meet Sunday morning at 10.30am and Tuesday evening at 7.30pm.  We are also looking to develop other meetings as the need arises.
